I’d like to speak in favor of the amendment to the smoking ordinance because I have waited for at least 7 years to be able to do something substantive about my neighbor’s smoking in our multi family townhomes. Her smoking continues my family’s health. My wife and son have asthma; my late wife died from breast cancer which makes my daughter more at risk; and my wife has COPD.
Nothing has worked so this right to sue clause could have tremendous impact.
