Hi Mayor Kate and Lindsay,
First I’d like to thank you and the City for supporting Pride month in all the ways you do. I’m deeply grateful.
I’d like you to reconsider adding I, intersex, to the the proclamation tonight at the City Council meeting. I’ve learned from many intersex folks that it is inappropriate and sometimes harmful for them to be included. It may not be intuitive for others until hearing from intersex folks as to why.
