I’m writing to express my comment regarding today’s Consent Calendar Item B, as I’ll regrettably be unable to join in person this evening, but I very much wish to make my strong feelings of support known.
As a neighboring resident, I wish to implore the city as vehemently as possible, please vote in favor of item B in support of the resolution option 1 to execute a full EIR for the Dominican Residential Development Plan PLAN23-081as recommended by the ESA.
To put in plain terms, the full scope environmental impact report as recommended by the ESA is an absolute necessity that simply must take place before any development whatsoever should proceed. The unprecedented environmental impacts of the Development Plan PLAN23-081 have not yet adequately been studied or disclosed to the city or the community at large.
Please adopt this resolution on behalf of all our neighbors, the myriad wildlife, the open space environment, and of course the requirements set forth in our city’s laws.
