San Rafael City
Council,

I'm begging you to
support the Peoples of
The Canal - A Story Of
2000 Years project, as
proposed along the
Sam Francisco Bay
Trail

Public art and
interpretive history
projects like this are
essential to this
community. They
provide
education, cultural
memory, honor
indigenous history,
and create meaningful
public spaces for
residents and visitors
alike. The San
Francisco Bay Trail is
a public path intended
for shared community
experience, reflection,
learning, and
connection. Exactly in
the realm of this
project.

I understand some
locals are against it..
but all of the care has
been taken to ensure
that the environment
is not negatively
impacted and the
people who lived on
this land before us
deserve to be
remembered and
respected.

Thank you so much,
Nico
