SUBJECT: DESIGNATION OF COUNCILMEMBER LLORENS GULATI AS THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL’S VOTING DELEGATE FOR THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES
ANNUAL CONFERENCE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN ANAHEIM FROM SEPTEMBER 23-25, 2026
RECOMMENDATION:
Designate Councilmember Llorens Gulati as the City of San Rafael’s voting delegate for the League of California Cities (Cal Cities) Annual Conference General Assembly in Anaheim from September 23-25, 2026.
BACKGROUND / ANALYSIS:
The Cal Cities Annual Conference will take place September 23-25, 2026. The Cal Cities bylaws require that the City Council designate a city’s voting delegate and up to two alternates. The City Council wishes to designate Councilmember Llorens Gulati as its formal voting delegate to the Cal Cities Annual Conference General Assembly for voting on Cal Cities’ policy at the business meeting. To date, one Resolution has been submitted for consideration by the Conference General Assembly. The full Resolution packet can be accessed here.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
