Hello,
I would like to make a public comment on the matter of tenant protections. The lack of rent control is forcing many workers out of the city, which is bad for the economy as well as unjust. I also call to ban RUBS, which is unfair and not transparent. Instead, I ask that you consider strengthening Just Cause laws.
These three demands are basic rights that impact all tenants in the city, and especially immigrants.
