CITY COUNCIL / PLANNING COMMISSION
JOINT MEETING
March 22, 2022
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
Prior to roll call, the City Attorney made an announcement that the meeting was conducted pursuant to the provisions under Assembly Bill 361 relaxing the requirements pertaining to remote meetings under the Brown Act. AB 361 authorizes state and local legislative bodies including the City Council, to hold public meetings by teleconference.
AB 361 allow public meetings accessible to the public via electronic means, including telephone.
The City Council, Planning Commission, and City Clerk were instructed to take roll call votes for the meeting. The City Clerk conducted Roll Call.

2. NEW BUSINESS
2.1 Joint City Council and Planning Commission Workshop: Housing Element Housing Sites Inventory
Recommendation: Staff Recommends that the City Council and Planning Commission Receive the Staff Report, Receive Public Comments and Give Direction to Staff and the Consultant Team Regarding the Housing Element Housing Sites Inventory.
Senior Planner Cindy Yee provided an overview of the staff report. 2 City Council / Planning Commission Joint Meeting – March 22, 2022 Public comment was received from Call In User 1, Joyce Carr, Jim Blickenstaff, and Susan Ferris-Inderkum. Written public comment was received from Khodadadi Farrokh.
The City Council and Planning Commission provided comments and direction to staff.
