CITY OF SAN RAMON
CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
March 29, 2022
1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
The meeting was called to order at 5:01 p.m.
Prior to roll call, the City Clerk made an announcement that the meeting was conducted pursuant to the provisions under Assembly Bill 361 relaxing the requirements pertaining to remote meetings under the Brown Act. AB 361 authorizes state and local legislative bodies including the City Council, to hold public meetings by teleconference. AB 361 allow public meetings accessible to the public via electronic means, including telephone.
The City Clerk conducted Roll Call.
The City Council and City Clerk were instructed to take roll call votes for the meeting.

2. CITY COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS
Public comment was received from Call in User 1.
2.1 Innovation and Technology Advisory Committee Interviews and Appointments Mayor Hudson's motion to appoint George Lin and Justin Troutman as Technology Industry Representatives, and Guy Gardner and Srinivasa Kottakota as Residents AtLarge with terms to expire February 2024 was seconded by Cm. Perkins. A roll call vote was taken and the motion was approved 5-0-0-0.
Cm. Perkins' motion to appoint Joseph Snyder as Resident At-Large alternate with a term to expire February 2024 was seconded by Vice Mayor Verose. A roll call vote was taken and the motion was approved 4-1-0-0. Cm. Armstrong voted against the motion.
2.2 Open Space Advisory Committee Alternate Member Interview and Appointment Cm. Perkins' motion to appoint Diana Korpi as an alternate member to the Open Space Advisory Committee for a term through July 2024 was seconded by Vice Mayor Verose.

2.3 Economic Development Advisory Committee Appointments Cm. Perkins' motion to appoint Garry Chaban with a term to expire January 2023 and John Rhodes with a term to expire January 2024 to fill two alternate vacancies on the Economic Development Advisory Committee was seconded by Cm. Armstrong. A roll call vote was taken and the motion was approved 5-0-0-0.
2.4 Contra Costa County Advisory Council on Aging Appointment Cm. Zafar's motion to appoint Swamini Bajpai to serve as the City representative on the Contra Costa County Advisory Council on Aging for a term ending September 30, 2024 was seconded by Cm Perkins. A roll call vote was taken and the motion was approved 5- 0-0-0.
