CITY OF SAN RAMON
CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
April 16, 2024
1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Also in attendance: City Manager Steven Spedowfski, City Attorney Martin Lysons, City Clerk Christina Franco, and Deputy City Manager Scott Koll.
2. NEW BUSINESS
2.1 Contra Costa Transportation Authority Citizens Advisory Committee and County Connection Advisory Committee Interview and Appointment(S) The City Council conducted an interview of one candidate.
Vice Mayor Perkins' motion to appoint Alexander Agier to both the Contra Costa Transportation Authority Citizens Advisory Committee with a term to expire June 2027 and County Connection Advisory Committee with a term to expire November 2025 was seconded by Cm. Rubio. The motion passed 5-0-0-0.
The City Council took a break at 4:20 p.m. and reconvened at 4:26 p.m.
3. WORKSHOP
3.1 Discussion of Rules of Procedures and Conduct for Elected and Appointed Officials
Introduction of the item by City Manager Steven Spedowfski. Consultant Shawn Spano facilitated the first half of the workshop focusing on the City Councils' norms, values and principles.
The City Council reviewed a Rules of Procedure document (attachment B) and provided feedback and comments to staff.
Cm. Verose left at 5:14 p.m. and returned at 5:45 p.m.
Public comment was received from Bill Clarkson.
The City Council did not take action on this item.
