April 23, 2024
1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 3:38 p.m.
Also in attendance: City Manager Steven Spedowfski, City Attorney Martin Lysons, City Clerk Christina Franco, Administrative Services Director Kelly Sessions, Police Chief Denton Carlson, Public Works Services Director Maria Fierner, Parks and Community Services Director Kathi Heimann, Planning Services Division Manager Lauren Barr, and Deputy City Manager Scott Koll.
2. WORKSHOP
2.1 Review the FY 2024/25 Preliminary Budget and Budget Balancing Strategies Recommendation: Receive the report and give direction to staff regarding budget balancing strategies and which budget cuts, if any, to restore.
Introduction by City Manager Steven Spedowfski. Presentation by Administrative Services Director Kelly Sessions, Deputy City Manager Scott Koll, Planning Services Division Manager Lauren Barr, Police Chief Denton Carlson, Public Works Services Director Maria Fierner, and Parks and Community Services Director Kathi Heimann.
Public comment was received from Greg Carr.
Written public comment was received from Bryan Briggs, Lily Li, Plan Phen, Casey Briggs, and Diana Korpi.
The City Council provided direction and feedback to staff.
