CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
May 21, 2024
1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.
Also in attendance: City Clerk Christina Franco and Administrative Coordinator Lisa Schlotz
2. INTERVIEWS AND APPOINTMENTS
2.1 Climate Action Plan Citizens' Task Force - Interviews and Appointments The City Council conducted interviews of the 12 candidates: Aiden Park, Zoe Lu, Sue Bock, Narendra Pal, Matthew O'Connor, Alec Hurd, Corinne Ferreyra, Farrokh Khodadadi, Chris Dembiczak, Ryan Brown, Luz Gomez, and Kathleen Truesdell.
Vice Mayor Perkins’ made the following motion and was seconded by Cm. Rubio. The motion passed 4-0-1-0. Cm. Verose was absent.
Appoint the following candidates and leave open the San Ramon Valley Unified School District Representative and Construction/landscaping/trades representative until close of business on May 23, 2024; and if the open positions are not filled by close of business the vacancies will be filled by Resident At-large member(s), thus the alternates and ranked waitlist would move up to fill the vacancies. Staff will then bring a staff report to reaffirm the appointments to the City Council meeting on May 28, 2024.
