January 6, 2025
1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m.
Also in attendance: City Manager Steven Spedowfski, City Attorney Martin Lysons, and City Clerk Christina Franco.
2. COUNCIL BUSINESS
2.1 City Council District 2 Appointment - Selection of Applicants to Formal Interview
Staff report by Christina Franco, City Clerk.
Cm. Verose's motion to interview candidates Richard Adler, Kyle Levy, Baljit Sull, and Tiffany Uhri Chu, on Friday, January 10, 2025 was seconded by Cm. Jweinat. The motion passed 4-0-0-0.
Cm. Verose's motion to ask 12 questions per candidate, with three minutes to respond per question, a two-minute opening, two-minute closing, and a five-minute leeway, for a total of 45 minutes, was seconded by Cm. Rubio. The motion passed 4-0-0-0.
3. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 5:49 p.m.
