CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
June 25, 2025
1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:20 p.m.

2. COUNCIL BUSINESS
2.1 Parks & Community Services Commission Interviews and Appointments The City Council conducted 7 interviews. Paul Rosa withdrew his application, and Santhosh Kanjula, and Lall Tejwani were considered by application only.
Cm. Rubio's motion to create a two person waitlist in priority order should a vacancy occur on the Commission within one year, was seconded by Vice Mayor Verose. The motion passed 5-0-0-0.
The Council took a break at 6:50 p.m. and reconvened at 7:20 p.m.

Cm. Rubio's motion to appoint Will Doerlich, Kyle Levy, Partha Mitra and Vasanth Shetty to the Parks and Community Services Commission for terms to expire in June 2029, and to place Robert Bickel and Carol Lopez-Lucey on a waitlist, was seconded by Vice Mayor Verose. The motion passed 5-0-0-0.
