Vice Mayor Blackwelder called the meeting to order at 5:41 p.m.

AGENDA ITEM 3, NEW BUSINESS
4.A Consideration and Approval of City RESOLUTION Authorizing the Extension of Remote Teleconference Meetings of the City Council and Boards, Commission, and Committees for the Period of September 7, 2022 through October 6, 2022 pursuant to AB 361 and Ralph M. Brown Act Provisions There was no discussion regarding the item.
Motion to approve the City Resolution authorizing the Extension of Remote Teleconference Meetings of the City Council and Boards, Commission, and Committees for the Period of September 7, 2022 through October 6, 2022 pursuant to AB 361 and Ralph M. Brown Act Provisions was made by Council Member Sofer, seconded by Council Member Cruz. Roll call Vote AYES: Council Members Blackwelder, Cruz, Sofer. NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT:
Council Members Carbone, Hawthorne. Motion carried.

4.B Consideration of Cancelling the remainder of the September 6, 2022 Council meeting due to the League of California Cities Annual Conference, September 6 to September 9, 2022
In response to Vice Mayor Blackwelder’s inquiry whether the cancellation of the meeting was conducted at the August 16, 2022 council meeting, City Clerk Horca responded that no formal action was taken.
Motion to approved cancelling the remainder of the September 6, 2022 Council meeting due to the League of California Cities Annual Conference, September 6 to September 9, 2022 was made by Council Member Sofer, seconded by Council Member Cruz. Roll call Vote AYES: Council Members Blackwelder, Cruz, Sofer.
NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: Council Members Carbone, Hawthorne. Motion carried.
AGENDA ITEM 4, ADJOURNMENT
There was consensus of the Council to adjourn the meeting at 5:43 p.m. to the next regularly scheduled Council meeting on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.
