JOINT SAND CITY COUNCIL AND SUCCESSOR AGENCY OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Special Meeting-Wednesday, January 31, 2024 4:30 PM
As allowed by Assembly Bill AB 2449, this meeting was conducted in person and by teleconference.
Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM.

Conference with Legal Counsel-Anticipated Litigation: Significant Exposure to Litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2), and (e)(2). Number of cases seven (7). (The City has been contacted by seven property owners about possibly filing claims against the City arising out of flooding of their businesses and properties beginning on January 22, 2024 that may have been related to the storm drainage system and facilities operated by the Seaside County Sanitation District. This incident might result in litigation against the City.)
