Special Budget Meeting - Tuesday, May 13,

As allowed by Assembly Bill AB 2449, this meeting was conducted in person and by teleconference.
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at approximately 9:45 am.

3. COMMUNICATIONS
No public comment received.
4. ORDER OF BUSINESS
4A. Approve the Sand City budget and Personnel Committee Meeting Minutes for February 12, 2025.
No public comment received.
The Committee voted 2-0, to approve the Budget and Personnel Committee, Special Meeting minutes for February 12, 2025.
4B. Consideration and Approval of Proposed Budget Amendment #1 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
No public comment received.
Staff gave a presentation of the proposed budget amendment for FY 2024- 2025. Council Member Diaz and Mayor Carbone asked questions about sales tax revenue, grant funding, the City Fee Schedule, and requested the addition of pie charts for the Council presentation.
Upon motion by Council Member Diaz and seconded by Mayor Carbone, the Budget and Personnel Committee voted 2-0 to recommend approval of the Proposed Budget Amendment #1 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 to the City Council.
