JOINT SAND CITY COUNCIL AND SUCCESSOR AGENCY OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
City Council Regular Meeting - Tuesday, May 20, 2025

Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm.

2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Councilmember Diaz led the Pledge of Allegiance.
3. ANNOUNCEMENT BY MAYOR, CITY ATTORNEY, AND CITY MANAGER Mayor Carbone made the following announcements: an MST celebration for 1 O years of support through Measure Q funds for seniors, veterans and disabled persons would be held the following day in Salinas, upcoming prescribed burns at Fort Ord that would be visible, and a dinner in Hollister on August 11 hosted by the Monterey Bay division of the California League of Cities.
City Manager Vibeke Norgaard announced that copies of the City Manager's report were available. City Manager Vibeke Norgaard made the following announcements: a West End Committee meeting was held, the newest edition of the city newsletter was available, National Public Works Week is from May 18 to May 24, 2025, and the planning manager job listing closes at the end of the month.
