A. CALL TO ORDER
The City Council called their Special Meeting to order at 5:00 PM.
B. ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Frank Gonzalez, Mayor Pro Tem Daniel Martinez, Councilmember Michael Montelongo, Councilmember Dolores Melendez
Absent: Councilmember Esmeralda Hurtado
C. AGENDA APPROVAL
The Council by motion of Councilmember Montelongo deleted Agenda Item E-1 and approved the agenda as amended. The motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Martinez and approved by the following vote:
AYES: GONZALEZ, MARTINEZ, MONTELONGO, MELENDEZ
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: HURTADO
D. PUBLIC FORUM
Unidentified member of the audience said he can’t make a comment on closed session items if he doesn’t know what the issue is and what is going to be talked about. He said that if item number three means that the City Manager wants an extension or raise, he votes no.
Councilmember Esmeralda Hurtado arrived at 5:04 PM.
Unidentified member of the audience said he does not have a problem giving a raise or extension but needs something to show for it. He said why is there no sports complex or hotel.
E. CLOSED SESSION
The Council adjourned to Closed Session at 5:07 PM.

F. CITY ATTORNEY REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Hilda Cantu Montoy announced that all Councilmembers were present in Closed Session and no reportable action was taken.
City Attorney Montoy announced that the Mayor will not attend the Regular Meeting.
G. ADJOURNMENT
Being no further business, the Council adjourned their Special Meeting at 6:01 PM.
