The City Council called their Special Meeting to order at 5:30 pm.
B. ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Frank Gonzalez, Council Member Esmeralda Hurtado, Council Member Michael Montelongo
Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Daniel Martinez, Council Member Dolores Melendez
C. AGENDA APPROVAL
The Council by motion of Council Member Hurtado,approved the agenda as posted. The motion was seconded by Council Member Montelongo and approved by the following vote:

LIABILITY CLAIMS
Claimant: Sanger Foursquare Church
Agency Claimed Against: City of Sanger
The Council reconvened their Special Meeting at 6:00 pm.
F. CITY ATTORNEY REPORT FROM CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Hilda Montoy announced the Council considered a claim regarding an accident that occurred in November 2023 wherein a police officer was in the process of apprehending an armed suspect resulting in damages to the Claimant’s property. The City’s Claims Administrator found no evidence of negligence or liability on the City. The Council voted to reject the claim.
