The public can begin joining the speaker queue a half hour prior to the meeting. Once a caller has entered the meeting, they will be placed in a holding queue. Callers will be prompted to speak in the order received. After the Recording Secretary confirms the last three digits of the caller’s phone number or Zoom ID and unmutes them, the caller must press *6 or microphone icon to speak. Callers are encouraged, but not required, to identify themselves by name. Each caller will be provided three (3) minutes to speak. In accordance with procedures, calls will not be accepted after the Public Comment Session begins.

3 Use of SAUSD Facilities by Community without a Service Fee Recommended Action: Receive and File
Minutes: Recreation and Community Services Manager Tim Pagano, provided an update on the use of SAUSD facilities by the community.  Stated an agreement is moving forward from the SAUSD and will be provided to the City of Santa Ana for review and approval.  Margarita Macedonia from City of Santa Ana Neighborhood Initiatives, also provided clarification on the item.
4 Emergency Preparedness
Recommended Action: Receive and File
Minutes: Subcommittee Member Mendoza, provided an update on cyber attacks, phishing and inquired type of training and educational programs available to the City of Santa Ana and SAUSD.  All Subcommittee Members support strengthening online security.
5 City/SchoolJoint Use
Recommended Action: Provide direction on the City/SchoolJoint Use Minutes: Subcommittee Member Hernandez, stated Joint Use Agreements should be in place for the usage of school space by nonprofits, City of Santa Ana Recreation programs and others.  Mentioned this is a good way to maximize space for the community.  All Subcommittee Members are in support of this item and would like to revisit the conversation, once the Joint Use Committee is developed.

Recreation and Community Services Manager Tim Pagano, provided an update, on the current Joint Use Agreements with SAUSD.

Minutes: Subcommittee Member Mendoza wished everyone a Happy Mother’s Day and stated she attended a water conference.
