TheSubcommitteeshall makerecommendationstotheCityCouncil regardinglegislativepriorities.
ARTICLEIV- COMPOSITIONOFTHESUBCOMMITTEE
SECTIONA- MembersTheSubcommitteeshall becomposedof twoor threesittingmembersof theCityCouncil.
SECTIONB- OfficersThereshall beaChair andaVice-Chair.
TheChair shall presideat all meetingsof theSubcommittee. TheVice-Chair shall presideallmeetingsof theSubcommitteewhentheChair isabsent.
SECTIONC- TermTheofficersshall beelectedbyamajorityof theSubcommitteemembersduringthefirstSubcommitteemeetingof eachcalendar year andshall takeofficeimmediately. Nominationsshall bemadefromthefloor.
SECTIOND-SecretaryAsecretaryshall beappointedfromCitystaff. Thesecretaryshall keepatrueandaccuraterecordof all meetingsof theSubcommittee, issuenoticeof all regular andspecial meetings, andperformsuchdutiesasaregenerallyassociatedwiththesecretaryfunctions.
ARTICLEV- MEETINGS
SECTIONA- RegularMeetingTheregular meetingshall beheldat least quarterly. Thetimeanddateof theregular meetingistobeset byCitystaff.
SECTIONB-SpecialMeetingSpecial meetingsmaybecalledat thediscretionof theChair, or at therequest of amember, forthetransactionof businessasstatedinthecall for themeeting.
SECTIONC- QuorumAquorumfor thetransactionof businessat anymeetingshall consist of amajorityof thesittingSubcommitteemembers.
SECTIOND- AttendanceExcusedabsencesshall bedefinedasanyabsencereceivedbytheChair or Secretarytwohoursbeforecommencement of themeeting.
