I arrived in the United States at the age of 19 to pursue my college degree. After completing my master's degree in statistics, I made the decision to stay in this beautiful country. Currently, I work as a market research analyst at AAA.
I originally come from Taiwan, and I am incredibly proud to call myself an American. However, I also cherish my diverse cultural background. One thing that is very important to me is the ability to worship God in our own language. It connects us to our heritage and brings a sense of comfort and belonging.
I am also a mother. Our church plays a vital role in helping our children understand their parents' roots. After attending Chinese school programs on Sundays, my daughter receives support in learning the language and gaining insights into our culture. It's a valuable experience that bridges generational and cultural gaps.
Furthermore, our church extends a warm welcome to new immigrants. It provides a sense of home and support, making the transition to a new country smoother and less daunting.
