TOPIC: 2024 Joint School Collaboration City Council Subcommittee Meeting Calendar
AGENDA TITLE
Review and Approve the Annual Calendar of Joint School Collaboration City Council Subcommittee Meetings for 2024
RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Review remainder of calendar of regularly scheduled Joint School Collaboration City Council Subcommittee meetings in 2024.
2. Direct staff to post Notice(s) of Cancellation and waive notice to the Commission of said meetings as required by the Government Code, as needed.
3. Discuss and direct staff to make any changes or modifications to dates and approve the 2024 Commission meeting calendar.
DISCUSSION
Regular meetings of the subcommittee are scheduled for the first Monday of the month.
Practice has been to hold these meetings at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chamber located at 22 Civic Center Plaza.
Staff recommends that the subcommittee continue to hold meetings on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 P.M., with the exception of September as it falls during City Hall’s Labor Day holiday closure. Staff proposes holding a special subcommittee meeting on Monday, September 9, 2024 as a replacement for the September 2, 2024 meeting.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
