If immigrants fought this hard wherethey camefrom they wouldn't be in America. How dare foreigners demand access to rights Americans were literally jailed, beaten and murdered for?
The 10th Amendment does not give municipalities and states the right to override Federal Immigration Laws. It is disgustinghow the mainstreammediais giving theseforeignersa platform! Thebiggestthreat to Americaare the numberof peoplein the USgovernmentand mainstreammediawho haveZEROhistory in the USso they think they canrewrite America's history becauseit will NEVERbe their history! If you do not like America go back to the lawless nations you and your people came from. Wethe Peoplehavehavealwaysfought for an Americaas goodas it is on paper. THAT'S PATRIOTISM!
It is a seriousmatter than in our times the curseof the cephalicindex shouldmakethe brachycephalics, all the racesof brachycephalics, born slaves, seekingout new maters when they have lost their own- an instinct whichis commononly to brachycephalicsand to dogs. It is a very seriousmatter that, wherever they are, they live under the dominationof dolicho-blonds, and in the absenceof Aryans, underthat of the Chinese and the Jews." -- GeorgesVacherde Lapouge
Dejurie affirmative action policies for white Americans and immigrants have been standard US economic policy since the end of Reconstruction. Thesepolicies subsidizedwhite Americansand immigrants, giving them opportunitiesfor jobs marginalizingcitizens. Jim Crowand BlackCodesare examplesof dejurie affirmative action that did not allow Americansto interact with the economytheir ancestorscreated. Thesepoliciesdid not end with the Civil RightsActsof the 1960s. Theyexpandedwith the USopeningits bordersto immigrants from the so-calledthird world further pushingAmericancitizensinto poverty!
America is the only country in history to give more to immigrants than Americans! If Blackpeoplewerea minority there wouldn't havebeenso many lawsto constricttheir economicand socialprogress. Currentlythe FederalGovernment's Grants.gov is giving millions of dollars awayto immigrants and foreign nationsyet claimsit cannotafford Reparations? Until the mainstreammediais readyto discussthat most white peopleliving in the UShaveZERO ancestryin America, unlike most BlackAmericansnothing is going to change. The myth of the white majority needs to end. AGAINif Blackpeoplewerea minority, there wouldn't havebeenso many laws to restrict their economicand socialmobility. Whydo you think in the 3/5 Compromisewasmadelaw by the FederalGovernment?
America imported the bulk of its white population because America, like every nation in this hemisphere, by the 18th Century was populated with people who were predominately of West 1 African descent due to Slavery. Therewasa populationturnover due to the greedof WesternEuropean imperialist and their Native co-conspirators.
NativeAmericansthroughoutthe Americasand Caribbeanplayeda significantrole in the WestAfrican SlaveTrade. Forexample, the FiveCivilizedNations (Creek, Choctaw, Cherokee, Seminole, and Chickasaws) didn't free their slaveswith the passageof the 13th Amendment. Thoseslaveswerefreed in 1866 with treaties the USgovernmentdid with individual tribes. Juneteenthis for Americanslaves, not the Native ones who were still enslaved.

States should not foot the bill for reparations. Thisis just a ploy. "They" knowthat most Blackpeople cannottrace their lineagebeyonda certain point. We considerRiverViewour HOMEcourseas it has providedour FAMILY (grandparents, parents, childrenand grandchildren) so manyopportunitiesto gatheras a familyandparticipatein the great gameof golf. We playlocallyat differentcourses, but RiverViewis our favoritefor manyreasons:
1. Atmosphere, environment Riverviewmaintainsthe courseso beautifully. Anytimeof year we go, it is top notch!!!
2. Affordability. Nowadayswiththe costof takinga familyof 4 to Disneylandfor a dayis 800.00 Knott's BerryFarm320.00 A familyof fourcan enjoya wholedaytogether, outdoorsin a safeenvironmentfor 200.00.
3. Staff, youwillnot meeta moreaccommodatinggroupof individualswhowillassistyouin whateveryouneed.
4. Golflessonsfor childrenat affordablerates. We haveenrolledbothour grandchildrenin gold lessonsat Riverview
5. Bestputtinggreensaround!!! youcancomeandpracticeat reasonablecosts.
ReasonswhyturningRiverviewintoa parkwoulddevastatethe area.
1. Thereis a largehomelesspopulationthatcruisethe riverbedsfromthe trailon top andalso the tunnelaccessesunderthe overpassess. We havehadnumerousrun-inswiththis 1 population. Andalthougheveryonedeservesshelter, settingup campin theseareasis unsanitary anda healthrisksto all.
2. Drugactivity. We havewitnessednumerouscriminalactivitieson the riverbedandhave calledthe police.
If the Golfcoursebecomesa publicpark, youwillget morehomelessanddrugtrafficever!!!!! Please, do not takean established, well-run, family orientatedgolfcoursefromus andthosewho alsolivearoundthe golfcourse. I am certaintheydo notwantto dealwithmorethe the criminal activitythat a parkwouldsurelybring.

Please rescind the ordinance prohibiting short term rentals and ask the staff to follow ethical and legal procedures for this very important issue!
In October of 2015 the city council unanimously voted not to extend a moratorium placed on STR’s. At that time they were publicly legal and the council asked for there to be a study session to determine what reasonable and fair regulations would look like. In September of 2022 a city wide ban was on the planning and building agenda, but was moved off of the agenda from the staff. Then in December of 2023 there was a study session presented to the planning/building commission. During that session, the public could not comment, we should have a chance to have a study session and discuss this issue as we are the experts who have been running these small businesses for over 10 years! Zoning codes haven’t been updated since the 1960’s according to the city staff. At the study session, the commissioners were supportive of a tax and regulated program. Alan Woo even asked the staff to meet with us to discuss what a program might look like. The ordinance should have been passed through the planning commission before being presented to you the council! On April 2nd there was no evidence given by the staff that STR’s are not wanted in the city. There needs to be a fair and proper study on this issue! The staff said they would target homes where there are noise complaints, LLC’s and absentee owners. My 1 home is none of these and I have received a citation in June along with a renewal for my business license that I have had for the past 6.5 years that I have been operating my short term rental. It is extremely stressful and frustrating! We need your help PLEASE!
Other cities have permit programs for short term rentals, it is not a difficult concept and would only benefit the city! TOT and sales taxes would bring millions in revenue to the city. By implementing a program for those of us who have existing businesses you will avoid future lawsuits. This is an issue that is not going away, this is the way that people travel. It is much easier to “weed” out the party houses if there is a permit program. I could go on. I have been working in this industry for almost 10 years and have especially worked hard in the past two years to understand how other cities have dealt with this issue.
Again, please rescind the short term rental ordinance and ask the staff to work with owners like me to create a program that would benefit the city!!
Thank you for serving our community,
Sheri Menke

Please remember all of us who will lose our jobs/homes if you don’t rescind the short term rental ordinance! A lot of us are women/mothers who have relied on this income to pay our mortgages! If there is one bad restaurant, a city wouldn’t outlaw restaurants, a city needs them for lots of reasons! It is the same with short term rentals, they/we are small businesses that are needed in the city for many reasons! Please work with us, not against us! Please help us! Best,
Sheri Menke
