I amwritingto expressmysupportfor the resolutionidentifyingthe JapaneseAmericanCitizens League, SoutheastLosAngeles, NorthOrangeCounty/OrangeCountyChapteras a community stakeholderin the preservationof the OrangeCountyJapaneseTeaHouseandGarden.
As a descendantof oneof the originaldonorsandsupportersof this project, I urgeyouto approve this resolution. TheJapaneseGardenandTeaHouse, establishedin 1969, representsa significant culturallegacyin our community. It standsas a testamentto thevisionof ourforebearswhosoughtto promotecross-culturalunderstandingandappreciation.
By recognizingthe JapaneseAmericanCitizensLeagueas a stakeholder, youwill be honoringthe originalintentof the garden's creatorsandsafeguardingits futurefor generationsto come.
