PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Design and construction of the Rousselle Street Flood Protection Project.
This project features the upgrade of existing City stormdrain on Rousselle Street, from Warner Avenue to St Gertrude Place, and was identified in the City’s 2018 Storm Drain Master Plan as one of the top 10 recommended capital projects.
PROJECT NEED:
The City experiences significant flooding during intense rain events, which has negative impacts on vehicles and pedestrian travel, business operations, and causes property damage. The project will increase the capacity of the City’s stormdrain system to reduce flooding and also includes stormwater treatment devices.
