RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE CITY’S
STATEMENT OF INVESTMENT POLICY 2025-2026
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and declares as follows:
A. California Government Code §53646, provides that each city may have a written statement of investment policy to govern investment of the City’s monies.
B. Pursuant to §53646, the City Tre asurer shall annually submit a Statement of Investment Policy for City Council consideration.
C. The City Treasurer has submitted the attached Statement of Investment Policy to this Counci l at its regular meeting of June 3, 2025, for its consideration.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana has duly considered and approves the City’s Statement of Investment P olicy submitted by t he City Treasurer.
Section 3 . The City Treasurer shall submit quarterly reports to the City Council stating all investments made in the preceding quarter and that such investments have been made in conformance with the City’s investment policy.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council, and the City Clerk shall attest to and certify the vote adopting this Resolution.
