Mayor and City Council,
I support Council member Lopez' s request to direct staff to create an ordinance that requires all federal enforcement agents to identify themselves within the boundaries of our city. They must be required to have name badges, share their credentials, and not be allowed to wear face coverings. A similar resolution has already been established in the City of Huntington Park after they rising safety concerns and arresting a man who was impersonating to be a federal agent. I hope the council does the right thing and directs staff to establish a strong resolution to do so and ensures that there are penalties of federal agents violates it.

Sincerely,

This email is in support of Item 32 on the city council' s agenda for tonight' s meeting.

The lack of identification from these masked individuals is posing a threat to Santaneros' safety & it must end.

Subject: Public Comments on Agenda Item 32 and Amendments to Oversight Committee Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana. Use caution when opening attachments or links.

Dear City Councilmembers and City Staff,
My name is Arcelia Guti6rrez and I am a resident of Santa Ana in Ward 6. I am writing to urge you to vote in favor of Agenda Item 32 and to vote against the proposed amendments to the Police Oversight Commission.

At the last council meeting, Councilmembers Penaloza, Phan, and Bacerra stated there is nothing the city can do to help residents and oppose the militarization of our city. Voting appropriately on these agenda items are things you can actually do to support your constituents.

Councilmembers Penaloza, thank you for supporting Vibes Boutique and for calling out Rep.

Young. As one of your constituents, I urge you to do more by voting yes on Agenda Item 32 and no on the proposed amendments to the Police Oversight Commission.

Sincerely,
Arcelia Gutierrez
