ORANGE COUNTY MOSQUITO AND VECTOR CONTROL DISTRICT (OCMVCD) The Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control Board is an independent special district dedicated to controlling rats, mosquitoes, and other disease carrying and public health pests. Activities also include surveillance of vectors and vector-borne diseases, public education services, identification of public health pests, and specific powers as outlined in the California Health and Safety Code. Each Trustee is appointed by the city they represent to serve a two- or four-year term, and may only be removed for cause.
Membership: Council Member or resident
Compensation: $100/per meeting (in lieu of expenses)
Term Limits: None; member serves a two- or four-year term, at discretion of the City Council

Meeting Date/Time: 3rd Thursday of each month at 3:00 P.M.
