Dear Honorable Mayor and City Council of Santa Ana:
My name is Maria Gonzalez and I am a resident of Ward 3 who also works in Downtown Santa Ana. I am writing to express my support for Agenda Item #16, the DTSA Services Contract.
As someone who both lives in this city and works downtown, I see firsthand how important clean and safe services are to the daily experience of residents, employees, business owners, and visitors. DTSA Services has played a consistent and visible role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall welcoming atmosphere of Downtown Santa Ana.
These services not only support local businesses and workers like myself, but also contribute to a healthier, more vibrant downtown that residents can take pride in. Continued support for DTSA Services helps ensure Downtown Santa Ana remains a place where people want to work, shop, and spend time.
I respectfully urge the City Council to approve this item and continue supporting the services that positively impact our community and visitors.

I am writing to express my support for Agenda Item 16 and the proposed agreement with DTSA Services for the Downtown Santa Ana Clean & Safe Program.
DTSA Services provides critical Clean & Safe services that help maintain Downtown Santa Ana clean, welcoming, and safe for residents, employees, business owners, and visitors. These efforts directly support local businesses, encourage community engagement, and contribute to a positive perception of the downtown area.
A well-maintained and safe downtown is essential for attracting visitors, supporting economic activity, and hosting the events and cultural experiences that make Santa Ana unique. The Clean & Safe Program plays a key role in ensuring that Downtown Santa Ana continues to thrive.
I live and work in Downtown Santa Ana and I get to see the Clean & Safe Program at work each day. The staff are all dedicated to keeping the Downtown clean and they are a part of the Downtown area as much as any other business here. They are not just a cleaning service, they are part of our community.
I encourage the City Council to approve this item and continue the Downtown Santa Ana Clean & Safe Program.
