FOURTH AMENDMENT TO CITY CLERK EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
THIS FOURTH AMENDMENT to theCityClerkEmployment Agreement isenteredintoon May 5,2026 by and between JenniferL. Hall,an individual(“Employee”) and the City of Santa Ana, a chartercityand municipal corporationorganizedand existingunder the Constitutionand laws of the Stateof California(“City”). RECITALS
City and Employee enteredintoAgreement No. A-2023-014 dated February 7, 2023, by which Employee agreedto appointmentas CityClerk forCity (“Agreement”); and A.
On May 7,2024, aftera positiveperformance evaluation,the City Council approved a First Amendment totheAgreement to adjustEmployee’s salary;and B.
On November 19,2024,aftera positiveperformance evaluation,theCityCouncil approved a Second Amendment to the Agreement to adjustEmployee’ salaryand to increasethe amount of deferredcompensation provided by the City;and C.
On May 6, 2025, aftera positiveperformance evaluation,the City Council approved a Third Amendment to the Agreement to increasethe amount of deferredcompensation provided by the City;and
D.
CityCharterSection705 and theAgreement provideforan annualperformance evaluation forEmployee;
E.
On April21, 2026, Employee reeeiveda positiveperformance evaluation; andF.
The City Couneil now desiresto adjust Employee’s salary to reflectsaid positive performanee evaluation.
G.
The Parties therefore agree:
Section 3.1,Salary, is amended to increasethe annual eompensation from $195,083 to $215,004, effectiveApril21, 2026.
1. Except as modifiedby thisFourthAmendment, allterms and conditionsof the Agreement, as amended, shallremain in fullforce and effect.
