Subject: Agenda minutes ( 3rdtime sending)
Attention: This email originated from outside of City of SantaAna. Use caution when opening attachmentsor links.
Good day!
I would like my comments to be added to today' s meeting.
Hi my name is Tee and I am a community member in Santa ana. My topic is eliminating violence and hate crimes within the city and increasing safety.
To make a difference we need transparency, individual commitment, community action, and a willingness from city council members to take proper steps where needed. I have noted that this city has been experiencing an issue or organized hateful actions that caused community discord and disunity. It. os believe that organized groups choose to use agitation, harassment, and threatening behavior against innocent city members to accomplish their own motives. This happens at parks playgrounds stores and ECT. My family didn' t do anything to anyone yet while at playgrounds we' ve heard and recorded death threats and demeaning phrases such as " dumb hoe " many times. While trying to promote safety we' ve made reports to the SAPD that have been rejected. This behavior is concerning and needs to be addressed. Tons of people in the community do not appreciate this type of bullying behavior( esp without cause).
Discrimination for disability, familiar status ethnicity or of any kind will not be accepted. I hope that my transparency will help the city to take the measures it needs to keep the people safe.
Praying to make the city safer!
Tee

Dear Mayor and City Council,
I am writing in strong support of Agenda Items# 10 and# 29.
The development of a Public Art& Preservation Policy is a critical step toward ensuring that Santa Ana' s cultural assets are protected, maintained, and accessible to the community. Public art reflects our histories, identities, and collective memory.
I also strongly support the identification and historic designation of artworks by Sergio O. Cadiz Moctezuma and Emigdio Vasquez. These works are foundational to Santa Ana' s cultural landscape and deserve formal recognition and protection.
I encourage the City to build on this momentum by establishing a Public Art Trust Fund with a minimum starting allocation of$ 50,000 to support long- term conservation, maintenance, and equitable investment in public art. Public art contributes to economic development by activating spaces, supporting local businesses, and attracting visitors.
Together, these efforts move Santa Ana closer to becoming a true open- air museum— one that honors its artists, preserves its stories, and invests in future generations.
I urge you to support both items.
Sincerely,
Nelson Rodriguez

Attention Susan Mills, city manager
https:// citVofsantaanaca. nextrequest. com/ requests/ 26- 1298 I am requesting all tenants Lease Agreement at 34 Civic Center all tenants unlawfully occupying city property are hereby evicted where Alvaro Nunez directly benefits and contracts with known ice terrorists to kidnap our family members The Unted States government was shut down here 9/ 30/ 25. They did run out of money to function properly.
Alvaro Nunez and his politicians are out of order, not welcome here, for your continual attacks on our People, since 2017 Republican Janet Nguyen Las Vegas Shooting.
Statute of Frauds
The requirement for most leases to be in writing is governed by California' s statute of frauds. One slightly tricky thing about the year- plus requirement for written leases is that if a lease is for less than a year, but expires more than a year after the terms are agreed to, that still has to be in writing.
So if, for example, you sign a nine- month lease that doesn' t start for six months, the time between signing the lease and it expiring is more than a year, so that needs to be in writing.
Unenforceable Leases
A lease that doesn' t adhere to the statute of frauds is considered unenforceable. That means the tenant is considered a tenant at will, and either the landlord or the tenant can end the lease at any time.

Attention: This emailoriginatedfrom outsideof City of SantaAna. Usecautionwhenopeningattachmentsor links.
Dear Mayor Valerie Amezcua,
Ivana Unger here in Washington Square will be turning 90 years of age come July 6th of this year and I was wondering if you might do a City Proclamation for her milestone birthday proclaiming July 6th as Ivana Unger Day or whatever you feel is the correct wording.
Due to some out of town friends being here this month the neighborhood is holding a special birthday party this May 30th so we can all attend a celebration of her birthday a month in advance and we'd like to present this proclamation at this birthday party.
Ivana along with her late husband, Oldrich, have been involved with the Washington Square Neighborhood Association since it' s conception in 1985 and she has been a board member and held different position with the association. The Unger' s were political immigrants from Czechoslovakia when they escaped the Communist Regime in 1980 coming to Orange County in 1984 and have made Washington Square their home ever since.
Attached is a photo of Ivana and a link to a Register article about them:
