Dear Chair Ortega & the Board Members of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California:
I am writing to formally submit my resignation from the Board of Directors for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD), effective July 21, 2026.
It has been an honor to serve on the Board of Directors and to contribute to the organization’s mission over the past five years. I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to serve our communities and oversee water supply policies for the region.
I wish the Board and MWD continued success with the important initiatives you are pursuing on behalf of the citizens of all the member agencies . My sincerest thanks to Chair Adan Ortega, the Board, and the staff for this incredible experience.
