Honorable Mayor and Members of the Santa Ana City Council, I am writing as a local community member to express my strong support for the Think Together project at 2101 East Fourth Street and to respectfully urge the City Council to deny Appeal Application No. 2026- 01 and uphold the Planning Commission' s unanimous approval of Site Plan Review( SPR) No. 2026- 01.
Think Together has long served California' s youth and families with vital educational programs, and this development represents a significant, positive investment in our neighborhood. The project revitalizes a key site within the Metro East Mixed- Use Overlay Zone, provides much- needed community and educational infrastructure, and aligns directly with the City' s vision for responsible, community- oriented growth.
Key reasons to expedite and approve this development include:
Community& Youth Investment: Supporting a respected nonprofit organization like Think Together directly benefits local students and working families.
Thorough Environmental& Planning Review: The project complies with the California Environmental Quality Act( CEQA) under the certified MEMU Program EIR and was thoroughly vetted and approved 5-0 by the Planning Commission.
Preventing Unnecessary Delays: Appealing this decision only stalls beneficial community resources and economic investment that Santa Ana needs now.
Please uphold the Planning Commission' s decision, reject the appeal, and allow this project to move forward without further delay.
