CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Randy Rowse called the meeting to order at 1 :02 p. m.

Councilmembers present: Eric Friedman, Alejandra Gutierrez (1:03 p. m.), Oscar Gutierrez, Mike Jordan, Meagan Harmon (1:32 p. m.); Kristen W. Sneddon, Mayor Randy Rowse.
Councilmembers absent: None.
Staff present: Assistant City Administrator Rene Eyerly, City Attorney Sarah Knecht, City Clerk Services Manager Sarah Gorman.
CITY COUNCIL ADMINISTRATIVE AND ATTORNEY REPORTS
1. Subject: Budget Schedule and Legislative Update to City Council (230. 05) Recommendation: That Council hear a presentation from staff and provide feedback related to the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 budget hearing schedule and current State legislation.

Discussion;
Councilmembers discussed the proposed budget hearing schedule and a proposed additional meeting before the February 29, 2024 meeting.
Councilmembers also discussed anticipated issues for 2024, including housing affordability, retail theft, electrical bicycle safety, and homelessness/behavioral health reforms.
Councilmembers' questions were answered.
