Mayor Randy Rowse called the meeting to order at 10:02 a. m.

Mayor Rowse recessed to closed session at 10:03 a. m. and stated that no reportable action is anticipated.

Recommendation: Recommendation: That Council hold a closed session pursuant to the authority of Government Code Section 54957.6 to consider instructions to City negotiators Human Resources Director Wendy Levy, Labor Relations Manager Sam Ramirez, and Assistant City Attorney John Doimas, regarding negotiations with: Service Employees' International Union, Local 620; Treatment 04/09/2024 Santa Barbara City Council Minutes Page 1 of 2 and Patrol and Hourly Bargaining Units; Santa Barbara City Employees' Association (General Bargaining Unit); Local 620 Service Employees' International Union; Fire Management Association; Santa Barbara City Firefighters Association; Police Officers Association; Police Management Association; Santa Barbara City Supervisory Employees; and American Federation of State, County Municipal Employees (Represented Managers) and Unrepresented Managers and Confidential Employees.
