Mayor Randy Rowse called the meeting to order at 9:00 a. m.

CLOSED SESSION
1. Subject: Public Employment: City Attorney - Gov. Code 54957 (b)(1) and 54957. 6 (440. 05)
Recommendation: That Council hold a closed session per Government Code Sections 54957(b)(1) and 54957.6 to review applications, interview candidates, and discuss qualifications concerning the position of City Attorney and authorize an ad hoc committee of Council members to engage in negotiations regarding compensation and benefits for the City Attorney, if applicable. Final action to appoint and approve an employment contract will occur in open session at a future City Council meeting, consistent with the requirements of state law.
