Gregoria Alvarez Reyes, Mother of Agustin a/k/a/ Augie Reyes, Director of Events at the Santa Clara Convention Center
• Gregoria Alvarez Reyes was born on March 12, 1932 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. • She was 1 of 10 children born to Cosme and Remedios Alvarez. Her siblings are Domitilo, Candida, Dolores, Apolinar, Lucio, Bernardino, Amparo, Eva and Christina. • In 1952, she married her great love, Emilio Reyes, in Texas. • Together they had 16 children: Rogelio, Roberto, Minerva, Emilio, Aniceto, Ramon, Maria Elena, Armando, Gerardo, Gabriel, Arturo, Jose, Juan, Agustin, Carmen and Alicia. • They were married for 69 glorious years.
• Gregoria was a woman of deep profound faith.
• She adored the love of her life, Emilio, with all of her heart and was always by his side. • She had an unconditional love for her 16 children, her 25 grandchildren and her 11 great grandchildren.
• She welcomed her daughters-in-law and sons-in-law with open arms. • She was beloved by all that knew her. May her memory be a blessing.
