Proposed El Camino Real Re-Design Concept (FINAL ROW Concept Street Section) The final ROW concept includes removing on-street parking to accommodate a protected bikeway via a permanent physical barrier (e.g. median) and adding bus boarding islands that would serve as an extension of the curb. The cycle track will pass behind bus boarding islands at bus stops to minimize conflicts between cyclists and buses.
