The 49er conspiracy theories that Mayor Gillmor Councilmember Watanabe &City Manager often make sound a lot like a Trumper. Ms. Santana is a terrible city manager and seems to only work for The Mayor and Councilmember Watanabe, not the entire council. Santa Clarans deserve better after Gillmor and Watanabe aka "The Original Niners Sisters" lured the Niners to Santa Clara and now act like they were not responsible. Face the facts Mayor, Watanabe &City Manager YOU have failed the residents.

News states that the City Manager will be discussed. What happens when a city doesn't have a lawyer and also, because the City Manager is removed, can't write or monitor contracts? Writing and monitoring contracts is the City Manager's job. Can Council Members be found liable for incompetence? Ruining both the legal and financial health and reputation of a city certainly points to irresponsible and incompetent behavior. Civil lawsuits filed by
citizens are possible, despite the Brown Act.
