Hi Ruth & Christine:
Thank you for the call today. I wanted to follow up with you on the few questions you raised regarding The Jim Wyatt Service Award Ceremony.
1). As stated previously in the submitted Recommendation for Award, these purchases are covered in the approved FY22/23 SCSA Budget, Guest Services and total $13,100 with a request NTE $13,500.
2). As we discussed on the call, the service awards have dated back to the inaugural season and took place each season since. They help serve in the capacity as an employee recognition & retention program.
3). With respect to your question regarding what the estimated total cost of the ceremony inclusive of F&B might be……We estimate that the total cost is less than $20K; shared 50/50 with the 49ers & SCSA. The F & B costs are budgeted, too, but were not included in the submitted Recommendation for Award due to the established Levy agreement already in place.

If the three of us could get on a quick call (15 minutes) so that we can understand more background and have some more contextual information regarding the event and the proposed SCSA expenditure. This would be very helpful for us to evaluate the request and then to prepare the appropriate documentation for Board review/approval.
