22-411. The CC denied this previously, The only significant change is to abuse AB 3194 to avoid rules. An objective reason to deny is failure to comply with Code and misleading, if not fraudulent, reports. Details provided to City. If bullied to pass. I ask that you require striking of ambiguous language in MND MM BR-3 ", or as close to the proposed building foundation as possible." The code is the code; a developer should not be allowed to define the code to fit their will or convenience.

Ecomments made by Susan Hinton moving forward, are fabricated by Mayor Lisa Gillmor &/or James Rowan.
Lisa is speaking through these individuals in order to save face. The three of them are trying to slander & overthrow council to benefit the Mayor. Don't be fooled Santa Clarans, Lisa DOES NOT release Public Records, but rather has James request records while Susan agrees with them publicly. Lisa also does this with her favorite personal blogger, Robert Haugh. Lisa hides behind them all. Watch.

This looks like an effort to pass a $420,000 budget increase for other agenda items, 1. 22-596 and 2. 22-597. I oppose this effort for multiple reasons: For example: Are the alleged repairs or improvements necessary and properly priced? Just because the 49ers say it's proper does not make it so. Also, how much homeless housing and food might be purchased for $420,000. Or might library hours return to normal? Or might pot holes filled faster, or other city services normalize faster, etc.?

Levi's Stadium should be paying for this, not the City. Also, I agree with James Rowen's "Post Meeting Material" letter to the Council, which points out that Keven Park, Council Member for District 4, should recuse himself from any 49ers votes due to email from Jay Reed to Kevin Park saying that Reed was trying to get money for Park from the the 49ers and Park was agreeing with Reed to work with Pete Constant to interfere with the contract between the City and the 49ers.

Isn't a Service Award Ceremony the kind of thing an employer handles? Isn't Levis Stadium the employer for Levis Stadium employees? Why would the City reward employees that are not the City's? Levis Stadium should recognize part time staff themselves. The City needn't pay $13,500 for such things as $550 worth of "ceremonial footballs" or $9,800 worth of egift cards. Let me ask the Council, "When is the last time the Council gave gift cards to its own part time staff and in what amount?" Assume a gift card of $25, then $9,800 divided by $25 = 1,142. Are there 1,142 part time staff at Levis? If so, then Levis Stadium can reward them. The city can give $13,500 to its own staff.

The FY23 Action Plan includes recommendations for award of CDBG funds to agencies providing services to low & extremely low income residents in Santa Clara. Bill Wilson Center receives CDBG funds to support school- based counseling services for youth and families, as well as a homelessness prevention program for students and their families in the Santa Clara Unified School District. Please approve the Plan so Bill Wilson Center can continue to provide vital services to youth and families.
