A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA,
TO AMEND RESOLUTION 22-9131 ORDERING THE SUMMARY
VACATION OF CENTENNIAL BOULEVARD BETWEEN TASMAN
DRIVE AND STARS AND STRIPES DRIVE AND A PORTION OF
STARS AND STRIPES DRIVE [VICINITY OF APN 104-03-036, 037, 038, 0 39, AND 040 (20 20-21)] AND A PORTION OF TASMAN
DRIVE [VICINITY OF APN 104-03-036, 037, AND 038 (2021-22)]
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, on July 12, 2022, the City of Santa Clara adopted Resolution No. 22-9131, “Ordering the Summary Vacation of Centennial Boulevard between Tasman Drive and Star s and Stripe Drive and a Portion of Stars and Stripes Drive [Vicinity of APN 104-03-036, 037, 038, 039, and 040 (2020-21)] and a Portion of Tasman Drive [Vicinity of APN 104-03-036, 037, AND 038 (2021-22)]”;
WHEREAS, Exhibit A-1 of Resolution No. 22-9131 was missing one sheet from the legal description that was inadvertently left out; and,
WHEREAS, the amended street vacation provides the required full legal descriptions and correct exhibit references.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the current Resolution 22-9131 Exhibits A-1, A-2, B-1, and B-2 are rescinded in their entirety.
2. That the amended Exhibits A-1, A-2, B-1, and B-2, attached hereto, are hereby approved and adopted.

3. Effective date. This resolution shall become effective immediately.

All that real property in the City of Santa Clara, County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows:
BEING a portion of Stars and Stripes Drive (a portion of which was formerly known as Talluto Way) and Centennial Boulevard, as said Drive and Boulevard are shown on that certain Record of Survey Map recorded in Book 570 of Maps, at Page 5 (570-M-5), Santa Clara County Records, lying Northerly of the Northerly sideline of Tasman Drive, described in Resolution No. 3367, entitled "A Resolution Dedicating Lands of The City of Santa Clara to Particular Public Uses", recorded October 1, 1974 in Book Bll 1, at Page 1, Official Records of Santa Clara County, and Northerly of Parcel 2 of that certain Right-of-Way dedication recorded June 2, 2011 m Document No. 21195719, Santa Clara County Records, and further described as follows:
COMMENCING, at a brass disc in concrete in a monument well at the centerline of Stars and Stripes Drive, said monument hereinafter referred to as "Point A" located on the centerline of Stars and Stripes Drive as shown on the above-referenced Record of Survey Map, from which a brass disc in concrete in a monument well at the intersection of the centerline of Stars and Stripes Drive and Centennial Boulevard bears South 63°57'01" West, 608.93 feet (North 63°03'14" East, 608.96 feet as shown on said map); thence from said POINT OF COMMENCEMENT, South 25°29'00" East, 42.00 feet to the Southeasterly sideline of Stars and Stripes Drive and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of this description:
1. Thence along said Southeasterly sideline, South 63°57'01" West, 533.76 feet, to a tangent curve to the left;
2. Thence along said tangent curve, having a Radius of 20.00 feet, through a central Angle of 94°12'44", for an arc Length of 32.88 feet, to a point of tangency and the start of Centennial Boulevard;
3. Thence along the Northeasterly sideline of Centennial Boulevard, South 30°15'43" East, 230.75 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve to the left;
4. Thence along said tangent curve, having a Radius of 40.00 feet, through a central Angle of 67°35'26", for an arc Length of 47.18 feet, to the Northwesterly sideline of Tasman Drive as shown in Parcel 2 of the Right-of-Way dedication recorded in said Document No. 21195719;
5. Thence along said Northwesterly sideline of Tasman Drive, South 63°11'39" West, 150.97 feet to the beginning of a non-tangent curve to the left, concave Northwesterly, to which a radial line bears, South 50°49'28" East;
6. Thence leaving said Northwesterly sideline of Tasman Drive, and the Northwesterly line of said Parcel 2, and along the Southwesterly sideline of Centennial Boulevard, along said non-tangent curve, having a Radius of 40.00 feet, through a central Angle of 69°26'16", for an arc Length of 48.47 feet, to a point of tangency;

7. Thence continuing along said Southwesterly sideline, North 30°15'4311 West, 231.49 feet to a tangent curve to the left;
8. Thence along said tangent curve, having a Radius of 20.00 feet, through a central Angle of 85°57'1911 , for an arc Length of30 .00 feet, to the Southeasterly sideline of Stars and Stripes Drive (formerly Talluto Way);
9. Thence along said Southeasterly sideline, South 63 °57'0 l II West, 3 88.81 feet to the end thereof as shown on 570-M-5;
10. Thence along the end of Stars and Stripes Drive (formerly Talluto Way), North 26°02'5911 West, 84.00 feet to the Northwesterly sideline of Stars and Stripes Drive (formerly Talluto Way);
11. Thence along said Northwesterly sideline, North 63°57'0111 East, 1,063.01 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve to the right;
12. Thence along the Northerly and Northeasterly sideline of Stars and Stripes Drive, and along said tangent curve to the right, having a Radius of 334.28 feet, through a central Angle of 48°57'2811 , for an arc Length of 285.64 feet to a non-tangent angle point;
13. Thence leaving said Northeasterly sideline, South 28° 11 '5111 East, 160.13 feet, to a point on the Northwesterly sideline of Tasman Drive as shown on the aforesaid Resolution No. 3367;

Thence along said Northwesterly sideline of Tasman Drive, South 49° 35' 1211 West, 3.14 feet, to the intersection of said Northwesterly sideline of Tasman Drive with the Southerly sideline of Stars and Stripes Drive (formerly Talluto Way), said intersection also being the beginning of a non-tangent curve, concave Southerly, to which a radial line bears North 47°45'5411 East;
15. Thence leaving said Northwesterly sideline of Tasman Drive and continuing along the Southerly and Southeasterly sideline of Stars and Stripes Drive, along said non-tangent curve, having a Radius of 265.63 feet, through a central Angle of 73°48'5311 , for an arc Length of 342.21 feet, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing an area of 3.304 acres, more or less.
Bearings and distances used in the above description are on the California Coordinate System of 1983, Zone 3, Epoch 2010. Multiply distances shown by 1.00005310 to obtain ground level distances.
