2. PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS
Video: [00:01:50]
Ken Kratz requested that the City complete a paper based survey of residents in the Community of Concern (COC) to determine infrastructure needs of the COC area. He also would like City staff to do in-house design work for smaller bicycle and pedestrian improvement projects.

Thomas Granvold would like the City to look into adding a pedestrian light, similar to the ones in front of Santa Clara High School, at the intersection of Benton and Curtis as parked cars block the line of sight. He also mentioned that there are new small electric vehicles being used by UPS and FedEx for deliveries which is a step in the right direction, but expressed a concern of their ability to fit into and occupy bike lanes.

Gabby Landaveri announced a bike ride along El Camino Real on July 16, 2022 that would begin at Plaza del Sol in Sunnyvale and come into Santa Clara and then back into Sunnyvale. She will email staff the details.
