• Before we begin the Council meeting, I would like to request a moment of silence to offer our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the recent tragedies in Seoul, South Korea
• On Saturday night, October 29th ', at least 156 people were reported killed and 150 others were injured in a crowd surge in Seoul, South Korea, after gathering for Halloween festivities.
Together, we grieve the individuals who lost their lives, and share in thoughts and prayers for the victims' families. We also hope for healing for the injured victims of this tragedy.
• Let us all please have a moment of silence in memory of the victims in Seoul, South Korea.
Recent Deaths in Morbi, India
• And on Sunday evening, October 30"h, disaster struck in the Town of Morbi, India, in the western state of India.
• A cable suspension bridge collapsed killing 135 people, with at least 30 children among those killed.
• Together, we mourn and grieve for the individuals who lost their lives in this tragic event and our thoughts and prayers are with those who remain missing. • Let us all please have a moment of silence in memory of the lives lost from this tragedy in India.
