I, Kirk Vartan , am hereby requesting to be placed on the Santa Clara City Council Agenda for the following purpose:
I would like discuss the new Parking Permit ordinance and rules. The current signs are already very restrictive at 1-2 hours for parking. As a small business, our employees need to park. Residents don't need parking during the day as they have a 2-car garage and two driveway sport, allowing for four cars to be parked per house, at least near our pizza shop. I don't believe public streets should be severely restricted like this. We are high tax payers in this city and we need your help. It has been fine so far. WHy do this now? Can businesses purchase permits? We need them.
I understand that it is important that I attend the meeting in the event there are any questions the Council wishes to ask me.
