Park Impact Fees Monitoring
Project
(700,000) Decreases the Park Impact Fees Monitoring project to reallocate $300,000 to the Parks & Recreation
Master Plan project and $400,000 to the Facility
Condition Assessment Update project. The unspent
project funds are recommended to address higher
priority capital needs
(majority affirmation Council
votes required).

Parks & Recreation Master
Plan
300,000 Establishes a Parks & Recreation Master Plan project by reallocating $300,000 of unspent project
funds from the Park Impact Fees Monitoring
Project. The project will develop a comprehensive
city-wide Parks & Recreation master plan that will
provide policy options and direction for the
acquisition and development of new parkland,
recreation facilities and park amenities to meet the
needs of new residents (majority affirmation
Council votes required).

Facility Condition Assessment
Update Project
400,000 Establishes a Facility Condition Assessment Update project by reallocating $400,000 of unspent project
funds from the Park Impact Fees Monitoring
Project. The project was last completed in FY
2016/17. Since that time, facility conditions have
improved and deteriorated, costs have changed,
and new parks and facilities have been acquired by
and dedicated to the City. This project will provide
an update to the initial comprehensive study.

This 5-year review is instrumental in providing the
City a list of lifecycle renewals and replacements
and a recommended timeline for repair, replace,
an/or upgrade of City Parks & Recreation facilities
as well as the cumulative cost over time. In
addition, the assessment will provide Geographic
Information System (GIS) updates to existing
facilities and incorporate new facilities into the City's enterprise GIS repository (majority affirmation
Council votes required).
