Jerry D. Scott - Retired Employee

• Jerry Scott grew up in Sunnyvale and was a proud alumnus of Fremont High School (Class of '52)
• Jerry married his high school sweetheart Dolores Seghi, in 1956 • Jerry moved to Santa Clara in 1965 and began his career with the City of Santa Clara as the Assistant Street Superintendent; he soon promoted to Superintendent of the Street Department. In 1980, Jerry transferred to the Parks and Recreation Department as Superintendent of the Parks Division.
• Jerry retired from City service in 1997. Jerry's involvement in the Maintenance Superintendent's Association San Francisco Bay Area Chapter inspired the organization to annually award the Jerry D. Scott Outstanding Superintendent of the Year
• Jerry is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dolores, his children, Susan, Kelly, and Mike; grandchildren Sarah, Scott, David, and Cooper; and his brother Bob.
