Honorable Mayor and Council,
Thank you for your consideration of my public comment. I would like to start by thanking you for your continued support for the Santa Clara Swim Club (SCS) and for the International Swim Center (ISC). As you know, the facility is old and in need of repair, reconstruction and renewal. This is an excellent opportunity to imagine a community benefit that is also a community builder. My understanding is that you will find willing and committed partners in the SCSC community and also the wider swimming community. Please prioritize funding, planning and construction of a new ISC while continuing to maintain the existing infrastructure. Thank you again for your consideration.
