RESOLUTION NO. 23-1 (STADIUM AUTHORITY)
A RESOLUTION OF THE SANTA CLARA STADIUM AUTHORITY
AUTHORIZING THE DEPOSIT OF STADIUM AUTHORITY FUNDS
INTO THE STATE'S LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT FUND AND
STADIUM AUTHORITY STAFF TO DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAW
THESE FUNDS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SANTA CLARA STADIUM AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Government Code section 16429 et seq, provides that a local governmental official, with the consent of the governing body of that agency, having money in its treasury not required for immediate needs, may remit the money to the Treasurer for deposit in the Local Agency Investment Fund for the purpose of investment; and
WHEREAS, the Board of the Santa Clara Stadium Authority has been presented with facts that there is money within the treasury of the Santa Clara Stadium Authority which is not required for immediate needs of the authority and that the deposit of money within the Local Agency Investment Fund for the purpose of investment is in the best interests of the Santa Clara Stadium Authority.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE SANTA CLARA STADIUM AUTHORITY AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Board of the Santa Clara Stadium Authority finds that there is money within the treasury of the Santa Clara Stadium Authority which is not required for immediate needs of authority and that the deposit of money within the Local Agency Investment Fund and that the deposit of money within the Local Agency Investment Fund for the purpose of investment is in the best interests of the Santa Clara Stadium Authority. //

2. The Board of the Santa Clara Stadium Authority authorize the following Santa Clara Stadium Authority officers and their successors in office to order the deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund and may execute and deliver any and all documents necessary or advisable in order to effectuate the purposes of this resolution and the transactions contemplated herein:
Executive Director - Vacant
Treasure r - Kenn Lee
Assistant Executive Director - Nadine Nader
3. This resolution shall remain in full force and effect until rescinded by the Board of the Santa Clara Stadium Authority by resolution and a copy of the resolution rescinding this resolution is filed with the State Treasurer 's Office.
4. Effective date. This resolution shall become effective immediately.
I HEREBY CERTIFY THE FOREGOING TO BE A TRUE COPY OF A RESOLUTION PASSED
AND ADOPTED BY THE SANTA CLARA STADIUM AUTHORITY, AT A SPECIAL MEETING THEREOF HELD ON THE 4TH DAY OF APRIL, 2023, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE :
